Duke Goethe Executive MBA

Two internationally renowned universities, The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University (Durham, NC, USA) and the Johann Wolfgang Goethe Universität (Frankfurt am Main, Germany), have created a dynamic, all-English-language- general management Executive MBA program that allows business professionals to continue their careers while simultaneously earning not just one, but two MBA degrees. Through a demanding 22-month study period, two degrees will be earned from the two acclaimed business and management institutes.

The majority of on-site classes will be held in Germany's business capital of Frankfurt am Main at the Goethe Business School with the exception of two one-week residencies and a weekend capstone course, which will be held in the USA at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina
Additionally, state-of-the-art distance learning technology is also applied over the entire 8 terms of study. This valuable feature is to ensure continuity and flexibility, while simultaneously reflecting the usage of new business tools and a newly adopted business standard; the ability to work independently and remotely.
New classes start every May and tuition is 51,000 EUR. The online application fee is 130 USD and application deadlines for 2008 are October 8, 2007, December 3, 2007 and February 4, 2008.
Applicants are required to have the following: an undergraduate degree (B.A.) or an equivalent, GMAT, TOEFL, a minimum 3 years relevant work experience, three letters of recommendation, three essays, letter of corporate sponsorship, a completed online application and an interview. Schiller International University, with a campus at Heidelberg and seven other campuses in five other countries, offers its students a unique intercenter transfer program. Since the language of instruction at all centers is English a degree can be completed while attending campuses in several countries. The main campus is at Dunedin, Florida, and, in addition to Heidelberg, there are European campuses in London, Madrid, Paris, Strasbourg (France) and Engelberg and Leysin (Switzerland). Facilities at the Heidelberg campus include: a computer laboratory with Internet, library, reading and study room, student lounges and student housing. Degrees offered at Heidelberg are: Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business, Management and Marketing; Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy, Interdepartmental Studies and International Economics, and Master of Business Administration.
